What is GpsT?

GpsT uses your mobile phone to run a java program that collects the GPS information from the bluetooth GPS or the internal GPS receiver on newer phones and send this info to the nordicopen-server. The server stores all the info into a database and displays the position in real time with Google Maps. This means that other people can see the excact position of the user on a map in real time. Hopefully many of the participating pilots will use this applet during the competition so that visitors of this site can follow the competition in real time!
Compatible mobile phones

Any phone having Java, Bluetooth API (JSR82) and MDIP2.0 - CLCD1.1 or with SymbianOS or Windows Mobile.
Compatible Bluetooth GPS

Any Bluetooth GPS can be used, or you can use the internal GPS receiver of newer phones.
How much does it cost?

The transmission is done via GPRS so the actual cost depends on how much the phone company charges for GPRS traffic.
